This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Be careful coming to Green Lakes, you might not ever wanna return home again. Green Lakes is right by the Broken Top Trail, and tremendous skiing awaits you at Hoodoo. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Mt. Bachelor. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ponderosa       Lodge, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Squaw Creek. There's so much to do here at Green Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Campground is a great place for that, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Mud Lake Trail. All through the warm months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Green Lakes. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's,                  and through the dark hours in the winter at Green Lakes temperatures drop to the 10's. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Suttle Lake is a brilliant location to spend a night or two; not far from Green Lakes you'll find Corral Lake which is a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at East Lake Resort and RV Parks, and Deschutes River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Lakes? Sure, Golden Lake is in the neighborhood, and do take a hike on the Moraine Lake Trail.
