    In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Grays Slough Reservoir is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. At Grays Slough Reservoir during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Grays Slough Reservoir are in the 20's. Be careful coming to the Wallowa Mountains,  
   you might not ever wanna return home again. This is a popular place for folks from La Grande, and explore close by Grays Slough.
Yeah, come up here to the Wallowa Mountains for a perfect time. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Hale Spring Trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Spout Springs is a great location to do that. Around Grays Slough Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest
 
               month is July. A nice close by hotel is Lagrande Super 8 Motel, and an interesting thing to go to near Grays Slough Reservoir is Grays Slough Dam.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Grays Slough Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Eagles Hot Lake RV Park is a great site for that, and paddling on Grande Ronde River is so much fun. But wait, there's more to do near Grays Slough Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a glorious choice; Grays Slough Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort is a great local campground. Fleets Loop Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
Going for a hike along the Huckleberry Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; if you get bored of Grays Slough Reservoir you could also stop by nearby Fleet Reservoir Number Two. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Rock Spring Trail, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Anthony Lakes.

We had a blast on this mountain on the Beach Day celebration, the staff was friendly as where the locals. They had the best barbeque, the lift lines where short, and the powder was great....

...and was first known as the Blue Mountain Ski Club. Pete and Esther Eyraud were the first owners. Pete was the second President of Pacific Northwest Ski Instructors Association and was instrumental in bringing the first French ski instructors to the northwest ski areas. Its name is derived from the numerous natural springs that are found throughout the region. There are three springs on the resort's property.
Spout Springs has 2 double chair lifts, a 21 KM cross country trail system, night skiing (the entire area is lighted), and one of the states few free tubing hills. In the late 60's, Spout Springs was the Nordic training center for the United States Olympic team and the Norwegian jump team. Spout Springs flies the Olympic Flag for this distinction.
