Grassy Pond is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. On a fine day at Grassy Pond you can take a hike along the South Fork Trail; Grassy Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Upper South Fork Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of gorgeous Cat Hill near Grassy Pond is wonderful, and a lake close by is Lily Pond. Having a nice time in       the Southern Cascade Range is trouble-free. If you're hooked on cool geologic characteristics, try Blue Rock, and Grassy Pond is not the only spot close by, McKee Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Grassy Pond you find the Cat Hill Way which is a great hiking trail, and do set aside some time for McKee Basin while you're here at Grassy Pond. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Rogue River - North                  Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot near Grassy Pond, and if you're looking for a perfect trip, Crater Lake National Park is relatively near.
