Gosling Lakes typically gets lots of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Oakridge Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Gosling Lakes mostly tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Through the winter highs       are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Gosling Lakes are in the 20's. Glide down the rapids of McKenzie River - South Fork in a kayak; skiing at Willamette Pass is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Gosling Lakes; Cupit Mary Meadow Trail is a good local trail; you're probably interested in lakes, Swan Lake is one of those nearby.
