And that's not all you can do here at Gordon Lakes. John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a great national park, and do take a hike on the Davis Trail. At Gordon Lakes throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Gordon Lakes. This lake is located       in the wonderful Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Gordon Creek is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at, and a round of golf at nearby John Day Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Gordon Lakes gets very little precipitation; all through November this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. And that's not all there is to do here in the Blue Mountains. Hiking along the Sulphur Creek Trail                  is wonderful fun, and Mt Vernon Motel & Trailer Park is a wonderful site to get some rest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Trail; close by you stumble on Gibson Gulch which is a pleasant spot to take a look at. Just can't get enough of the Blue Mountains. A brilliant spot to camp here at Gordon Lakes is Clyde Holliday, and Gordon Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mt Vernon Motel and Trailer Park is a great local campground.
