The panorama of charming Mount Scott near Gordon Lake is magnificent, and Gordon Lake is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Crater Lake Resort is a splendid location       to camp nearby. And if that's not enough there's a load more entertaining things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. A lake close by is Quillwort Pond. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Gordon Lake get into the 60's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Gordon Lake dip into the 10's. The high level of precipitation makes                  Gordon Lake a reasonably wet location; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is usually the driest month.
