     Summer at Gordon Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Gordon Lake sink into the 10's. Gordon Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; throughout December this area sees the most snow while July is commonly the driest month. All the outdoors fun things in close proximity  
   to Gordon Lake will keep you coming back time and again. A visit to Gordon Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Pothole Spring, and going for a hike along the Crater Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Visiting Crater Lake National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; if you came for
 
               an overnight stay Crater Lake Resort is a great place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Klamath Falls come to Gordon Lake, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Mount Scott Trail. While you're here at Gordon Lake you can take a hike along the Garfield Peak Trail, and camping is available at Crater Lake Campground RV Park.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. You'll discover a pretty lake called Crater Lake near Gordon Lake. Do visit Quillwort Pond right next door to Gordon Lake, it's a gorgeous lake; the peak of Mount Scott can be spotted from Gordon Lake. Gordon Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range.

This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail.
