You could also have a look at Clear Lake if you're here at Goose Lake; it's nearby, and there's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Wheatland Dam right next door to Goose Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do right next door to Goose Lake. You'll meet a lot of people from Salem here, and a lake nearby is Ryan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. McNary Golf Club       is a good golf course nearby, and Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort is a brilliant campground nearby. Lone Tree Bar is near Goose Lake and is beyond doubt a magnificent place to check out, and if you came for an overnight stay Shelburne Farms Camp is a fine place to camp. While you're here at Goose Lake it's a glorious idea to stop by Beaver Island, and if you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Salem is a great choice. Mission Bottom is a pleasant place to stop                  by while in the region; dry warm beds await you at Wittenberg Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to King Creek. Goose Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; throughout December this area sees the most rain; the driest month is July. At Goose Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's.
