If you are traveling by, why not stop by Goose Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Wallowa Mountains. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. All year is a good time in the Wallowa Mountains if you like the outdoors. There is a good hiking trail next to Goose Lake called the West Eagle Trail; since you're here, you could take a look at Cottonwood Creek. Red Gulch is a nice place to take a look at close by,

| | and you can stay the night at Main Eagle Bridge Campground. A pleasant close by hotel is Best Western Rama Inn & Suites, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Grover Reservoir. Summer at Goose Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. so much to do here at Goose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Express Ranch Mobile and RV Park is a magnificent place for that. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Goose
Lake. Going for a hike on the Fake Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Lakes are great; Gover Reservoir is a lake that's in the vicinity of Goose Lake.
