A visit to Goose Lake is always a good idea. At Goose Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Goose Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. Around Goose Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is July. Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a great location to get

This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little journey to Cottonwood Creek; since you're here you can take a hike along the West Eagle Trail. On a good day at Goose Lake you can take a hike along the Martin Bridge Trail, and close by you discover Red Gulch which is a glorious location to check out. Goose Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains.
