If you are in Lane county it's always a good idea to stop by Gold Lake. Gold Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Boo Boo Lake is near Gold Lake, and if you came to camp Shelter Cove Resort is a nice place to do that. A large amount of rain falls at Gold Lake; December is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest.
At Gold Lake you can see Mount Ray; don't leave Gold Lake without first going for a hike along the

| | Island Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Willamette Pass is near Gold Lake; Best Western Oakridge Inn is a good site to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Mount Ray Trail, and Gold Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Springs Campground is a pleasant local campground. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. There are glorious places to explore | |

along the Gold Lake Trail; if you like swamps you're in luck, Gold Lake Bog is right nearby. Just can't get enough of Gold Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Full Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay, and if you're
here why not pop by Willamette Pass.
Summer at Gold Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's; winter
nights come with lows in the 20's to Gold Lake. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. Eagle Rock is an out of the ordinary thing to observe if you're here at Gold Lake; if you've had enough of Gold Lake, Odell Lake is nearby.
