Glenbrook Log Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You completely should love the Coast Ranges. Camping at Glenbrook Log Pond is great fun, Fern Ridge Shores is a great local campground, and there's whitewater on Alsea River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people. Don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Gardner Creek; you'll meet a lot of folks from Corvallis here. Glenbrook Log Pond is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.

| | The high level of rainfall makes Glenbrook Log Pond a pretty wet place; most of the rain falls through December, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Galaxie Motel is a tremendous place to get some rest, and McCloskey Knob is simple to spot from Glenbrook Log Pond. Throughout the summer months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Glenbrook Log Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are regularly | |

Motel is a good place to spend a night or two, and you can run the rapids of Marys River. Benton Oaks RV and Campground is a fine campground here; if you've had enough of Glenbrook Log Pond, Rambo Reservoir is close by. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do in the Coast Ranges.
