Lake Campground is a good spot for that; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Rocky Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are good spots to explore, and Crater Lake National Park is no exception;
Lake Gladys is not the only site nearby, Deep Lake is a nearby lake.
A great deal of rain falls at Lake Gladys; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't picture the amount
of outdoors fun things the area close to Lake Gladys has to offer. The peak of Pelican Butte can be observed from Lake Gladys.
