If you are traveling by, why not stop by Giebeler Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Giebeler Lake is excellent! Good hiking is available along the Twin Lakes Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hoodoo while you're here. Lakes are perfect; Elk Lake is a lake that's near Giebeler Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Santiam River - North. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in

| | one place! The Central Cascade Range is great! Don't leave Giebeler Lake without first going for a hike along the French Creek Trail, and you can go for a hike on the Beachie Trail. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Park. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Giebeler Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Giebeler Lake descend into
the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Beachie Saddle is a glorious place to look at; Giebeler Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, B and B Rentals is a wonderful local campground. Giebeler Lake is a pretty wet place
typically with a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Silver King Lake; float down the rapids of Breitenbush River in a kayak.
