This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. That right there is a load of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Drift down the rapids of Jenny Creek in a kayak, and Gibson Reservoir is right by the Buck Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Windmill Inn And Suites Of Ashland is a wonderful location to get some rest; Tom Spring is a pretty site to check out while you're at Gibson Reservoir. Gibson

| | Reservoir is pretty dry ordinarily; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Be careful coming to the Southern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A beautiful lake like Ice House Lake close to Gibson Reservoir is a delightful site to take a look at, and a great close by hotel is Lithia Springs Resort And Gardens. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Southern | |

Cascade Range. Lakes are such calm sites, why not visit Chapman Lake close to Gibson Reservoir, and a splendid sight of picturesque Sugarloaf is available. At Gibson Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 80's.
Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Gibson Reservoir. While you're here at Gibson Reservoir you can play some golf at Ashland
City Golf Course, and a great site to check out close by is Edwards Canyon. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Gibson Reservoir is great! Take a hike on the Bieberstedt Trail; a quick trip to Big Creek is undeniably a
glorious idea. All the outdoors entertaining stuff close to Gibson Reservoir will keep you coming back time and again. Hiking along the Mount Ashland Trail is delightful fun, and Campers Cove is a brilliant campground nearby. This
lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Gibson Reservoir without first checking out The Slide, and you can stay the night at Glenyan Campground Of Ashland. Dosier Flat is a pleasant location to check out, and Mt. Ashland has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff.

 | 12 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.  | 13 miles away You have got to be kidding. IV-V+???!!!!!! Has someone really run the falls? You make it sound like a like just any old run. It can only be run at the few times there is enough water and for a large part of the run, barb wire, willow thickets in the channel and recluses with shotguns are the main obstacles. Only the last few miles has whitewater of note and it is challenging. I ran this section in the mid eighties and claim along with my buddies Kent Erskine and Max Linn a first descent.... |
