For the period of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Gibson Reservoir, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Gibson Reservoir are in the 30's. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Siskiyou Mountains. You're probably hooked on lakes, Brown Res is one of those close by; Gibson Reservoir       is a spot with many visitors from Grants Pass. From a rain point of view Gibson Reservoir is a quite typical location; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Bella Rosa Inn is a nice choice. There's so much to do here at Gibson Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cook and Green Campground is a perfect location for that. There's some flowing water close by,                  Jamison Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay, and if you came to camp Hutton Campground is a pleasant location to do that. Gibson Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Siskiyou Mountains. So much exciting stuff in the Siskiyou Mountains, just impressive. Float down the rapids of Rogue River in a kayak. Have a great hiking adventure along the Low Gap Trail, and Darnielle Gulch is another great spot to go to nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Gibson Reservoir.
