Gibson Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Siskiyou Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Gibson Reservoir is Cook and Green Campground; Kinworthy Reservoir is a tremendous lake close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A pretty lake like Brown Res next to Gibson Reservoir is a pleasant place to go to; on a       brilliant day you can take a hike along the Low Gap Trail. So many exciting things in the Siskiyou Mountains, just unbelievable. You'll meet a lot of folks from Grants Pass here; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Grayback Clapboard Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Siskiyou Mountains. A great close by hotel is Best Western Inn At The Rogue, and Darnielle Gulch is another great place to stop by nearby.                  At Gibson Reservoir during the long summer days highs are in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Gibson Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Grants Pass, Or is a great location to spend a night or two; why not take a little spree to Jamison Creek since you're here. Gibson Reservoir is a good place of common precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
