What a location this is for outdoors folks. Woodsman Country Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Twin Peaks Trail. Head up to Willamette Pass and strap some skis to your feet; since you're here, you could also visit charming Barren Lake. Much precipitation falls at Gerdine Lake; during December this area sees the most rain,       and the driest of the months is July. The Moore Creek Trail is a nice hiking trail next to Gerdine Lake, and camping at Shelter Cove Resort is always a great experience. Gerdine Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. For the period of the summer months at Gerdine Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours                  of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Gerdine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Charlton Butte is a peak you can catch a sight of from Gerdine Lake; camping is available at North Wickiup Campground. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range.
