This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. George Reservoir gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year is July. After a long day outdoors Best Western Holiday Motel is a good site to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Rivers Edge Recreational Vehicle Park since you're here at George Reservoir. Any time is a delightful time at George Reservoir       if you fancy the outdoors. There's some flowing water close by, Coffee Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay; glide down the rapids of Coquille River - South Fork in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to George Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Coos Bay for sure, and The Village Green is a good local campground. High temperatures at George Reservoir through the summer months are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at George Reservoir dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
