George Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Coast Ranges. High temperatures at George Reservoir all through the warm months are in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at George Reservoir are in the 30's. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Coast Ranges. Coos

| | River - South Fork is a nice whitewater spot in close proximity to George Reservoir; a quick tour to Coffee Creek is without doubt a tremendous idea.
George Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout December; July on the other hand is the driest. If you came for an overnight stay The Village Green is a tremendous place to camp, and there are other sites here than George Reservoir, for example Rink Creek Reservoir. | |

This lake is so wonderful. George Reservoir is not far at all from Coos Bay, and after a long day outdoors Myrtle Lane Motel is a fine location to spend a night or two.
Dry warm beds await you at Myrtle Trees Motel; camping at
George Reservoir is great fun, Portside RV Park is a great local campground. You completely must go for George Reservoir. Rink Creek Dam is not far at all from George Reservoir; you can run the rapids of Coquille River - South Fork. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges.
