Go to George Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. George Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Squaw Creek. Through the days of summer highs here at George Lake reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while George Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's.

Going for a hike along the South Loop Cut Off will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Hoodoo has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. Mt. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Marion
Creek; at George Lake you can distinguish Little Belknap. That right there is a load of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Hiking along the Little Belknap Trail is splendid fun, and Comfort
Inn is a good site to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes George Lake a wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
While you're
here at George Lake you can take a hike along the Cache Lake Trail, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Lodge at Suttle Lake.
