If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to George Lake. Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a nice campground nearby, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Bachelor while you're here. If you come at the right time of year, Marion Creek offers some nice whitewater; pretty scenery and wonderful skiing is what you acquire at Hoodoo.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to George Lake, and the

night is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at George Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes George Lake a wet place; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Squaw Creek; George Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than
one day, Camp Tamarack is a nice spot to camp nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Cache Lake Trail is magnificent fun, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two. Little Belknap is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from George Lake, and George Lake is right by the South Loop Cut Off. George Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range.
Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you get bored of George Lake, you could also check out nearby Washington Ponds, and a great close by hotel is Lodge at Suttle Lake. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Little Belknap Trail; George Lake is not the only place close by, Shadow Lake is a close by lake.
