This lake is so wonderful. A good spot to camp here at Gem Pond is Potter's Trailer Park, and lots of folks from Klamath Falls come here. Through the summer here at Gem Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's; nighttime lows       at Gem Pond during the winter regularly sink into the 20's. Gem Pond is pretty dehydrated commonly; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range.
