    In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Gavins Pond is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. All the water falling down from the sky makes Gavins Pond a wet site; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Take a hike on the Eagle Creek Cutoff, and get your pulse rate up  
   on the nice whitewater of Sandy River.
During the summertime here at Gavins Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Gavins Pond tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.                most likely addicted to lakes, Roslyn Lake is one of those close by, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sandy Inn.
It's a nice idea to go to Bull Run River, it's near Gavins Pond. There's so much to do here at Gavins Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest is a great location for that. Having a splendid time in the Central Cascade Range is easy. If you came to camp Camp Creek - Mount Hood National Forest is a perfect site to do that, and Lake Roslyn Dam is a stunning place, absolutely worth visiting. Hiking along the Fanton Plaza Trail is splendid fun; needless to say, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Lake Roslyn is a lake close by.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Gresham-Troutdale, Or is a pleasant choice; there's whitewater on Bull Run for all you adrenaline junkies.
