This lake is so wonderful. Port Orford is a place that is in the vicinity of Garrison Lake, and the good folks of Brookings like to hang out nearby. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Garrison Lake has to offer. Lakes are such calm places, why not visit Richman Reservoir close to Garrison Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Grassy Knob Trail.
Garrison Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Garrison Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. One of the best things about Garrison Lake is its proximity to Sixes Beach, and if you need a location to stay Pacific Reef Resort is a magnificent choice. Camping is available at Agate Beach Trailer Park; you can run the rapids of Elk River.

This is the most beautiful lake on the oregon coast. It has pleanty of huge bass and other fish in it. I saw two ospreys and one bald eagle on it. There is lots of wildlife on this lake because it is private and nobody fishes it....
This is a private lake. However, I have a 6.5 acre parcel that has access to this lake. You can fish for trophy bass from your own dock or boat that comes with this property. The property is splittable into 2 parcels that each have their own deeded lake access. All this and way more for only 369K OBO. Call 260-4958 or email endofcherrylane@earthlink.net for more pictures and info....

...rth of the California border. Things are different in Gold Beach. Our rush hour is a jet boat ride on Jerry’s Rogue Jets and the Mail Boats on the Rogue River. Our locals may be a magnificent eagle skimming the water or a bear on the shores of the Rogue River eating blackberries. Our backyard is the beach, and the forest is our suburbs. It’s uncrowded, unhurried, and the banana belt of the Oregon coast with more clear skies and comfortable temperatures than the northern Oregon coast.

Turtle Rock Resort offers cottage vacation rentals, RV and tent site rentals with views of Hunter Creek and the ocean or a forested hillside covered with ferns. It’s a three to five minute walk to miles of beach from anywhere in the resort.

Each cottage includes everything you need for a pleasant beach vacation. All you need to bring is your clothes, food, and the ability to leave it all behind and watch the playful otters, graceful herons, and spectacular sunsets from your cottage window, soothed by the sound of the surf. A bedroom downstairs with a king or queen bed, a sleeping loft and a...
