And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. If you come at the right time of year, Illinois River offers some nice whitewater, and don't leave Game Lake without first going for a hike along the Snow Camp Trail. It's a glorious idea to visit Sizeable Stream, it's in close proximity to Game Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Coquille River - South       Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Game Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Agness RV Park is a delightful place for that; you can go for a hike on the Lower River Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Game Lake a wet spot; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Coast Ranges. Game                  Lake is not far at all from Brookings, and Big Eddy is a nearby lake that you could go to. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Coast Ranges. Dry warm beds await you at Inn of the Beachcomber, and if you get bored of Game Lake you could also visit close by Allen Pool. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp McCurdy Campground is a great place to do that, and there's delightful hiking along the Mountain Wells Trail. High temperatures at Game Lake through the summer are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Game Lake are in the 30's.
