     Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Frying Pan Lake is one of them. Frying Pan Lake gets much water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest. That right there is a heap of amusing things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Get soaked paddling on Sandy River, and some of the water close by flows, like Fir Tree Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Tom Dick Trail offers hiking at its  
   best, and Basin Point is easy to spot from Frying Pan Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Falcon's Crest Inn on Mt. Hood is a great spot to spend a night or two, and hey, Gotta ski right? Timberline Lodge is a magnificent place to do that. This place, Frying Pan Lake, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Frying Pan Lake; Skyline Alternate Trail is a perfect local trail, and a glorious
 
               swamp right next door to Frying Pan Lake is Dry Meadow. While you're here at Frying Pan Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Hood River.
Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go home again. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl; you can stay the night at Barlow Campground. Frying Pan Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood is a glorious choice, and Frying Pan Lake is a delightful location to camp, Kinzel Lake Campground is a delightful location.
All through the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Frying Pan Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Frying Pan Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Frying Pan Lake is right by the Wind Creek Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Zigzag River.
