Camping is available at Lonesome Spring Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Frog Reservoir; Black Canyon Trail is a fine local trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Frog Reservoir. Not far from Frog Reservoir, you'll hit upon Hornet Reservoir which is a lovely lake. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Frog Reservoir. Summer       nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while Frog Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. Frog Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dry mostly; the month with most of the rain is May; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Little Summit Campground is always a splendid experience, and there's fine hiking along the Coffeepot Trail. The Blue                  Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Mountains. There are other spots here than Frog Reservoir, for example Clayton Reservoir, and nice hiking is available along the Owl Creek Trail.
