Imnaha River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and why not camp at Kirkland Campground since you're here at Frog Pond. Not much rainfall falls here at Frog Pond; most of the rain falls all through May, and July on the other hand is the driest. If the weather is fine here at Frog Pond, you can go for a hike along the Cottonwood Creek Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Snake River.
