Do stop by Frog Pond while you're in this part of Oregon. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at West Branch Campground, and needless to say, A visit to Four Bit Gulch is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Country Hills Resort is a magnificent place to camp, and the Limestone Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. National Monument is a great site nearby. Frog Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is December; July on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the warm days of summer at Frog Pond highs are
typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Frog Pond. There's whitewater on Trace Creek for
all you adrenaline junkies, and going for a hike along the Althouse Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
