    Frog Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. A short journey to Loretta Falls is always worthwhile, and the Althouse Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Frog Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Riverside Inn Resort; Four Bit Gulch is another magnificent place to explore  
   close by.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Frog Pond. Frog Pond is located in the Klamath Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Frog Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Frog Pond.
Frog Pond is not the only place close by, Kelly Lake is a close by lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Des Moines Creek.
 
               You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Klamath Mountains has to offer. Near Frog Pond you discover the Limestone Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; a lake close by is Bolan Lake. There is a great hiking trail close to Frog Pond called the Bolan Lake Trail, and folks from Grants Pass love to come here.
Having a brilliant time in the Klamath Mountains is trouble-free. The panorama of Little Grayback from Frog Pond is charming, and West Branch Campground is a delightful local campground. Frog Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Country Hills Resort is a glorious site to camp nearby, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Indian Creek Klamath Tributary. Any time is a great time at Frog Pond if you go for the outdoors. Oregon Caves National Monument is a good national park, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Trace Creek.

We are staying in Selmac Sept 16 for Cycle Oregon and would like lodging recommendations near where cycle oregon is camped. Please advise. Thxs....I am planning on coming up for the 4th of july weekend and I was wondering if your lake is contaminated as several of the surrounding lake are.
