There's perfect hiking along the Umbrella Falls Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Timberline Lodge since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. At Frog Lake you always meet someone from Hood River, naturally you could also stop at Trillium       Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. Swamps like Salmon River Meadows right next door to Frog Lake make for delightful locations to take a look at, and you can go for a hike on the Bonney Meadows Trail. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Frog Lake. One of the main marks of the surroundings of Frog Lake is Bird Butte; skiing at Mt. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Frog Lake are in the 30's. The high level of precipitation makes Frog Lake a pretty wet place; December is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is July.
