A visit to Frog Lake is always a good idea. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Hood River - Lake Branch, and the peak of Bird Butte can be observed from Frog Lake. Frog Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Salmon River Campground; swamps don’t sound that tremendous but Salmon River Meadows

| | near Frog Lake is pretty tremendous. Summertime at Frog Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Frog Lake. Have a great hiking adventure along the Umbrella Falls Trail, and nearby you find Blue Box Pass which is a pleasant site to stop by. And that's not all you can do here at Frog Lake. Ghost Creek while you're here at Frog Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bonney Meadows Trail. Having a great time in the Central Cascade Range is painless. Timberline Lodge is a great spot to get some rest, and
the skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows is glorious. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Frog Lake has it all. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend White River. After a long day outdoors
Timberline Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of people from Hood River here. Frog Lake generally gets a good deal of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile
is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Driveway Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Timberline Lodge is relatively near. Frog Lake is a great place to camp, Lower Twin Campground is a great place, and Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit.
