At Frog Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Jupiter is clearly visible from Frog Lake. There's so much to do here at Frog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hemlock Lake Campground is a glorious place for that. you could also check out nearby Lake Alta. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. The sights at Crater Lake National Park will blow your mind, and if the weather is
brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Hemlock Lake Trail. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Frog Lake. Boulder Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rogue River - North Fork.

Also let the folks know there is a primitive boat ramp and good camp sites right on the water. Be prepared for lots of mosqitios. But it is beautiful !!!!!!!... |
