Go to Frog Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. From a rain point of view Frog Lake is a pretty common place; the month with most of the rain is November while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Hemlock Lake Trail is always a glorious adventure, and you can stay the night at Upper South Fork Campground. Seven Lakes Trail which is a fine hiking trail. The King Spruce Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Frog Lake; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Rogue River - North Fork. Throughout the days of summer, highs mostly
are in the 80's at Frog Lake, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Frog Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
