    A visit to Frog Lake is always a good idea. So many exciting things in the Blue Mountains, just extraordinary. Buck Spring is a stunning place to explore while you're at Frog Lake. Frog Lake is pretty dehydrated generally; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest of the months is July. Sunshine Flat is a beautiful place any time of year, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Mud Lake.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things
 
   in the Blue Mountains. Go for a hike on the Little Baldy Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Frog Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fopian Campground. Summer at Frog Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Frog Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Good hiking is  
               available along the Starvation Trail, and the top of Lookout Mountain is easily observed from Frog Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western John Day Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and there are other sites here than Frog Lake, for example Stanbro Reservoir. Frog Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. But wait, there's more to do near Frog Lake. There's so much to do here at Frog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Looney Spring Campground is a good place for that; going for a hike on the Sunshine Flat Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
