    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Frog Lake. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Some close by water includes Austin Creek, and paddling on Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork is so much fun. If you need a place to stay Whispering Woods (Vri) is a nice choice, and a beautiful lake like Timber Lake is a glorious location to stop at. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a glorious time.  
   Don't leave Frog Lake without first going for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail; Austin Meadow is an exciting swamp near Frog Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Resort at the Mountain is a perfect site to spend a night or two; you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Serene Lake. Frog Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Nowhere Meadow is a great place to check out, and scenic scenery and glorious skiing is what
 
               you acquire at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl.
For the duration of the summertime months at Frog Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Frog Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Frog Lake has to offer, you can camp at Shining Lake Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Roaring River Trail. There's so much to do here at Frog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Frazier Turnaround Campground is a great site for that, and Frog Lake Dam is a place that is right next door to Frog Lake.
Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Frog Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Frog Lake. Clackamas River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by, and brilliant hiking is available along the Bagby Trail. Much rain falls at Frog Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest.
