     But wait, there's more to do near Frog Lake. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl has good slopes and a friendly staff; dry warm beds await you at Whispering Woods (Vri). Paddling on Clackamas River is so much fun; why not a little side visit to Austin Creek. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Lakes are delightful; Ripplebrook Pond is a lake that's near Frog Lake, and Frog Lake is pleasant enough to spend  
   more than a day at, Frazier Turnaround Campground is a pleasant local campground.
Frog Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Frog Lake to observe the water at Frog Lake Dam, and the Bagby Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop
 
               by close by Timber Lake. There's so much to do here at Frog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shining Lake Campground is a perfect location for that.
Frog Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. Don’t forget to visit Nowhere Meadow since you're here at Frog Lake; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail. Just can't get enough of Frog Lake.
A pleasant swamp in the neighborhood of Frog Lake is Austin Meadow, and after a long day outdoors Resort at the Mountain is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is excellent! Get soaked paddling on Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork, and going for a hike along the Roaring River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Frog Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 40's while Frog Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's.
