Fox Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's whitewater on Trask River for all you thrill seekers, and the peak of Grizzly Butte can be spotted from Fox Lake. So much fun stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too wonderful to be true. The Mountain Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Camp Three Reservoir. Fox Lake is located in the Southern

| | Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Klamath Falls Super 8 Motel is a good place to get some rest. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Fox Lake. If you need a place to stay Golden Eagle Motel is a perfect choice, and there's pleasant hiking along the Moss Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Fox Lake without first going for a hike along the South Pass Lake Trail; Fox Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Juanita Lake Campground is a great local campground. All year is a pleasant time in the Southern
Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. This is a perfect region for folks who like lakes. Griffith Reservoir is a lake close at hand; if you came to camp Bear Canyon Campground is a great spot to do that. An average
amount of rainfall falls at Fox Lake; most of the snow falls during December; the driest month of the year is July.

 | 19 miles away You have got to be kidding. IV-V+???!!!!!! Has someone really run the falls? You make it sound like a like just any old run. It can only be run at the few times there is enough water and for a large part of the run, barb wire, willow thickets in the channel and recluses with shotguns are the main obstacles. Only the last few miles has whitewater of note and it is challenging. I ran this section in the mid eighties and claim along with my buddies Kent Erskine and Max Linn a first descent.... |
