Was at the lake today 7-2-08...Would like to see information on the site that gives information on fishing. Have heard there is some real nice fish in the lake. didn't get a chance to fish. Also let the folks know there is a primitive boat ramp and good camp sites right on the water. Be prepared for lots of mosqitios. But it is beautiful !!!!!!!

A visit to Fourmile Lake is always a good idea. Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. If you need a site to stay Aspen Inn Motel is a pleasant choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Fourmile Lake while night lows are mostly in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Fourmile Lake fall into the 20's. While you're here at

| | Fourmile Lake, you could also go to lovely Lake Aphis, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Fourmile Lake; Blue Rock Trail is a brilliant local trail.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Take a side visit to Long Creek, and nice hiking is available along the Four Mile Lake Trail. The annual rain here at Fourmile Lake is about average; November is when you get the most rain here while July
is frequently the driest month. Very perfect water scenery is available at Fourmile Lake Dam in the vicinity of Fourmile Lake, and the Twin Ponds Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at White Pine Campground if you're here at Fourmile Lake, and there are swamps here too, Bull Swamp is around here.
