This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Peewee Lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Bachelor since you're here. Marion Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; wonderful scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Hoodoo. The warmest time of the year at Four O'Clock Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's;

| | after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Four O'Clock Lake plunge into the 20's. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Four O'Clock Lake you can take a hike along the Cache Lake Trail; from Four O'Clock Lake you get a glorious vista of Cache Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Four O'Clock Lake. | |

The Round Lake Trail is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Four O'Clock Lake, and you can stay the night at Black Butte Resort. And if that's not enough there's heaps more fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range.
You could also stop by Hortense Lake if you're here at Four O'Clock Lake; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ponderosa Lodge. Lodge at Suttle Lake is a fine place to get some rest, and Suttle Lake Resort and
Marina is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Squaw Creek is so much fun; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the South Loop Cut Off. The high level of rain makes Four O'Clock Lake
a relatively wet place; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July.
