This lake is so wonderful. Pacific Reef Resort is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and camping at McCurdy Campground is always a great experience. This place, Foster Pond, it completely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. You can run the rapids of Coquille River - South Fork near Foster Pond. Lakes are great; Southard Lake is a lake that's near Foster Pond. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep       you coming back repeatedly. Going for a hike on the Bear Camp Trail is always a perfect adventure, and a magnificent place to camp here at Foster Pond is Agness RV Park. For the period of the days of summer here at Foster Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Foster Pond. You can see Brushy Mountain from Foster Pond; since                  you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Lake of the Woods. The high level of rain makes Foster Pond a pretty wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. The Mountain Wells Trail is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Foster Pond, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Brookings here. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a great time.
