    Foster Pond is a lake worth visiting. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Coquille River - South Fork, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Brookings here. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Coast Ranges is so good!. Summertime at Foster Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's,  
   and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Foster Pond dip into the 30's.
Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Coast Ranges. Foster Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, McCurdy Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mountain Wells Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading.
 
               If you get bored of Foster Pond, you could also pop by close by Dry Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Foster Pond has to offer, you can camp at Agness RV Park. Foster Pond is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.
Take a hike on the Bear Camp Trail; dry warm beds await you at Pacific Reef Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Foster Pond you can see Brushy Mountain, and Foster Pond is right by the Lower River Trail. Foster Pond is a relatively wet place usually with lots of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
