Jefferson over the lake are spectacular.  The RV park is within steps of wonderful fishing, boating and swimming.  This new park is beautifully landscaped and I am told of a new lodge and marina will be ready next year for a perfect vacation spot. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Central Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the Michigan Heights Trail; swing by Gedney Creek it's a splendid location to stop at. Throughout the summertime months at Foster Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally       in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Foster Lake. So much exciting stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just fantastic. There are plenty of folks from Albany-Lebanon here at Foster Lake; don't leave Foster Lake without first going for a hike along the Crabtree Lake Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do right next door to Foster Lake. One of the main marks of the surroundings of Foster Lake is North Butte,                  and there's whitewater on Calapooia River for all you adrenaline kick people. Foster Lake is a reasonably wet place generally with a lot of rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. At Foster Dam near Foster Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see; camping at Foster Lake Campground is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Sweet Home Inn is a glorious place to get some rest, and you'll stumble on a gorgeous lake called Peck Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Foster Lake is Holiday Mobile Park, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Sun Motel. Foster Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range.
