The views of Mt. Jefferson over the lake are spectacular. The RV park is within steps of wonderful fishing, boating and swimming. Going for a hike along the Crabtree Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and you can run the rapids of Santiam River - South. So much amusing stuff to do at Foster Lake, so little time. Calapooia River is a pleasant whitewater spot near Foster Lake, and Gedney Creek is in the neighborhood of Foster Lake and is always a joy to stop by. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range.       There are other sites here than Foster Lake, for example Tollgate Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Foster Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Koinonia. Foster Lake frequently gets a great deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. There are plenty of people from Albany-Lebanon                  here at Foster Lake; at Foster Lake you can spot North Butte. This lake is so wonderful. Willamette Log Pond is a good lake near Foster Lake, and Foster Dam has great water scenery. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn & Suites; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Michigan Heights Trail. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Central Cascade Range. Foster Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Edgewater RV Resort and Marina is a nice location to camp nearby, and hiking along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail is wonderful fun. Summertime at Foster Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's.
