Good hiking is available along the Lone Pine Trail; Little Summit Campground is a glorious local campground. Fort Creek Reservoir is usually a reasonably dehydrated site; May is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Blue Mountains. There's some flowing water close by, Fort       Creek is a stream you can explore while here. Fort Creek Reservoir is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Lonesome Spring Campground is a perfect site to camp nearby; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Dry Lake. Don't leave Fort Creek Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Owl Creek Trail; Pine Hollow is another fine place to visit nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Mountains.                  That right there is a load of exciting things already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. There's splendid hiking along the Coffeepot Trail; Fort Creek Dam is a place that is right next door to Fort Creek Reservoir. The warmest time of the year at Fort Creek Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Fort Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
