Custom Search     Fords Pond     Ford's Pond is just off hwy 138 just West of I5, in Sutherlin, Oregon. I've heard people fish there, but the real attraction are the birds. The pond, and surrounding fields offer great spring migrants and summer nesters (warblers, buntings, Sora, Rail, Bald Eagle, tons of swallows...etc), and the winter offers lots of good water fowl variety. There are some trails around the lake and especially over to one side you can walk the ''island''- like a levy.
