Glide down the rapids of Umpqua River - North in a kayak, and Microtel Sutherlin is a great place to get some rest. Through the days of summer highs here at Fords Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Fords Pond.

Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Davis Hill is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Fords Pond, and
if you come at the right time of year, Umpqua River offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fords Pond has to offer, you can camp at Hi-way Haven RV Park, and a quick
visit to Cook Creek is definitely a glorious idea.
The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Fords Pond. There's so much to do here at Fords Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Oak Hills Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine location for that; lots of folks from Roseburg come here.
