If you are in Josephine county it's always a good idea to stop by Flanagan Slough. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Flanagan Slough you will meet lots of people from nearby Grants Pass; going for a hike on the Coffee Pot Trail is always a splendid adventure. A pleasant close by hotel is Grants Pass Travelodge, and Oregon Caves National Monument is a nice national park. During the long summer days at Flanagan Slough highs are mostly in the 70's

| | with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Flanagan Slough.
The annual precipitation here at Flanagan Slough is about average; most of the rain falls during November, and July is when it's the driest. So many fun things to do here in the Klamath Mountains, too nice to be true. You can run the rapids of Illinois River close to Flanagan Slough, and you can go for | |

a hike on the Kerby Peak Trail. Finley Bend is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Flanagan Slough. There's so much to do here at Flanagan Slough that you need to camp here for a while, Bend O' The River is a good location
for that.
This place, Flanagan Slough, it completely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. There's whitewater on Grave Creek for all you adrenaline people, and a short visit to Bedrock Riffle is always worthwhile. This lake is so
wonderful. If you fancy a little side trip, try Panther Gulch, and don't leave Flanagan Slough without first going for a hike along the Grayback Trail. Some nearby water includes China Creek.
All year is a glorious time in the
Klamath Mountains if you adore the outdoors. If you need a spot to stay Riverside Inn Resort is a brilliant choice, and if you came to camp Wilderville Koa Kampground is a good spot to do that. Flanagan Slough is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains.
