Fishhawk Dam is not far at all from Fishhawk Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek. Fishhawk Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. After a long day outdoors Westport Motel is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and Nehalem River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. Summertime       highs at Fishhawk Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Fishhawk Lake. If you need a spot to stay Nassa Point Motel is a glorious choice, and Fishhawk Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Big Eddy County Park is a delightful local campground. This is no place for people who don’t                  like to have a good time. This lake is so wonderful. Boxer Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth visiting. There's so much to do here at Fishhawk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marv's RV Park is a magnificent place for that.
