The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Fish Ponds is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Columbia Trailer Court is a perfect local campground; Northwoods Inn Motel is a fine location to get some rest. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Fish Ponds reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. Throughout       the winter highs are in the 40's while Fish Ponds nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. All year is a perfect time in the Coast Ranges if you fancy the outdoors. If you came to camp Big Eddy County Park is a magnificent spot to do that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Nehalem River. Fish Ponds is a quite wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July.
