Fish Ponds is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Perkins Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Nehalem River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This place, Fish Ponds, it just has so much outdoors exciting stuff. During the months of summer here at Fish Ponds, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.       Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Fish Ponds sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fish Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Big Eddy County Park is a great site for that, and you can run the rapids of Coal Creek. So many entertaining things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too good to be true. If you need a location to stay Rodeway                  Inn Longview is a tremendous choice, and lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at Floeter Pond. After a long day outdoors Travelodge Longview is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and Titus Pond is a good lake nearby.
