Fish Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Trout Lake Campground is a good local campground; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Collawash River. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Fish Lake has it all. Fish Lake is right by the Wolf Spring Trail, and don't miss out on a delightful swamp; Cornpatch Meadow is right here at Fish Lake. Yeah, come       up here to the Central Cascade Range for a fine time. The Cub Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Middle Lake. Fish Lake generally gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture. During the days of summer at Fish Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's while nighttime lows are                  regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows at Fish Lake throughout the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Olallie Creek is a magnificent local stream, and there's fine hiking along the Fish Lake Trail. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marion Creek; the vista of pretty Double Peaks is great. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet. Fish Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.
