     The beauty of Fir Lake attracts many people from all around. The high level of rainfall makes Fir Lake a pretty wet location; December is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. All through the warm months at Fir Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's  
   to Fir Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and Fir Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Tombstone Prairie Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Duffy Lake Trail, and a lake close by is Little Duffy Lake. This spot, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff.
 
               Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fir Lake; Turpentine Peak Trail is a great local trail; you can stay the night at Country Star Recreational Vehicle Park. Just can't get enough of Fir Lake. Skiing at Hoodoo is one of those things you just must do, and there's some flowing water nearby, Green Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay.
This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Marion Creek. Take a hike on the Lava Trail; Lodge at Suttle Lake is a tremendous spot to get some rest. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
A great location for whitewater paddling near Fir Lake is Santiam River - North, and don't miss out on a great swamp; Big Meadows is right here at Fir Lake.
