Fir Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too magnificent to be true. The top of Diamond Rockpile is easily made out from Fir Lake; a scenic lake like Alameda Lake is a wonderful site to have       a look at. All year is a great time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. If you need a spot to stay Arbor Inn is a nice choice; you can go for a hike on the Sawtooth Way. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Lucile Campground is a great place to camp, and a brilliant location to visit nearby is Emigrant Pass. This lake is so wonderful. At Fir Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter                  brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Fir Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Fir Lake without first going for a hike along the Windy Pass Way, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Hills Creek. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Fir Lake. Why not camp at Shelter Cove Resort if you're here at Fir Lake, and paddling on Salt Creek is so much fun.
