Fir Lake is a lake worth visiting. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Fir Lake. Near Fir Lake you come across great spots like Emigrant Pass, and Shelter Cove Resort is a good campground nearby. Throughout the summertime months, highs generally are in the 80's at Fir Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's; winter nights

| | come with lows in the 20's to Fir Lake. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Fir Lake called the Windy Pass Way; obviously, this is a nice area for folks who like lakes, Reflection Lake is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel is Best Western Oakridge Inn, and the peak of Diamond Rockpile can be made out from Fir Lake. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. | |

If you come at the right time of year, Hills Creek offers some nice whitewater. Lakes are nice; Spruce Lake is a lake that's next to Fir Lake. Fir Lake is a pretty wet place generally with lots of precipitation; December is the wettest
month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a delightful time. There are some good whitewater spots on Salt Creek, and the Sawtooth Way
is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Willamette Pass, and Fir Lake is a delightful site to visit for more than one day, Lake Lucile Campground is a delightful site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
If the weather is great here at Fir Lake, you can go for a hike along the Timpanogas Way. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range.
