This lake is so wonderful.       Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Cedar Bend Golf Course, and you can go for a hike on the Hazel Camp Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Going for a hike on the Grassy Knob Trail is always a magnificent adventure; you'll meet a lot of folks from Brookings here. Libby Creek Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if you need a spot to stay Inn of the Beachcomber is a brilliant choice. Stay                  the night at Anglers Trailer Village, and after a long day outdoors Pacific Reef Resort is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Coast Ranges. Time spent at Ophir Beach right next door to Ferguson Pond is always wonderful; good hiking is available along the Lower River Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ferguson Pond has to offer, you can camp at Secret Camp Recreational Vehicle & Tent Park, and a lake close by is Euchre Creek Pond. This site, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Ferguson Pond. A quick trip to Edson Creek right next door to Ferguson Pond is a good idea; if you're here, you might as well have a look at Canfield Bar.
