After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; perfect skiing awaits you at Spout Springs. All year is a splendid time in the Blue Mountains if you love the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is great on Grande Ronde River; don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Coon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Feik Reservoirs called the Summit Mount Emily Trail; camping at Feik Reservoirs is glorious fun, La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort is a glorious local campground. Near Feik Reservoirs you come across the Five Points Trail which is a good hiking trail, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Hale Spring Trail. If you need a location to stay Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a good choice, and Mint Spring is an inspiring site to go to during your stay.
