Faraday Forebay is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Faraday Forebay Dam is worth going to since you're here, and get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Eagle Creek. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Central Cascade Range. Faraday Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; after a long day outdoors Best       Western Sandy Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. If you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Gresham is a pleasant choice, and don't leave Faraday Forebay without first going for a hike along the High Camp Trail. At Faraday Forebay during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Faraday Forebay                  dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. You can run the rapids of Clear Creek in the neighborhood of Faraday Forebay. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Eagle Fern Camp while you're here at Faraday Forebay, and there's nice hiking along the Pine Crest Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dubois Creek flows through this area, and a golf course close by is Springwater Golf Course. The high level of rain makes Faraday Forebay a rather wet site; most of the rain falls during December; July on the other hand is the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Milo Mciver State Park is a splendid spot to camp; the East Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range.
