What a nice lake Fall Creek Reservoir is. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Fall Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Creek Campground is a brilliant place for that, and there are other places here than Fall Creek Reservoir, for example Juniper Glade Pond. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Fall Creek Reservoir. There is a great hiking trail near Fall Creek Reservoir called the Brown Mountain

| | Trail, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Klamath River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. Everybody loves Juniper Glade, and if you came to camp Bear Canyon Campground is a pleasant place to do that. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. Springs Resort And Gardens is a fine place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Fall Creek Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime
are in the 30's while Fall Creek Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Fall Creek Reservoir gets very little rain; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is the month with
the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Jenny Creek offers some wonderful whitewater; not far from Fall Creek Reservoir you'll find Ling Reservoir which is a stunning lake. Dry warm
beds await you at Windmill Inn And Suites Of Ashland, and Rattlesnake Spring is an inspiring place to explore during your stay.

 | You have got to be kidding. IV-V+???!!!!!! Has someone really run the falls? You make it sound like a like just any old run. It can only be run at the few times there is enough water and for a large part of the run, barb wire, willow thickets in the channel and recluses with shotguns are the main obstacles. Only the last few miles has whitewater of note and it is challenging. I ran this section in the mid eighties and claim along with my buddies Kent Erskine and Max Linn a first descent.... |

Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
