Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Evans Log Ponds is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Near Evans Log Ponds you discover the Grassy Knob Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and nothing beats kicking back at Agate Beach. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. Camping at Evans Log Ponds is magnificent

| | fun, Turtle Rock RV Resort is a magnificent local campground, and Inn of the Beachcomber is a delightful spot to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Evans Log Ponds is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a magnificent time. On a pleasant day at Evans Log Ponds you can take a hike along the Hazel Camp Trail, and a quick journey to Antone Creek is unquestionably
a nice idea. If you need a place to stay Breakers is a good choice, and if you're visiting from Brookings, you won't be the only one. At Evans Log Ponds through the summer highs are in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours
it's usually in the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Evans Log Ponds are in the 30's.
In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River, and you can hit the beach if you want, Barley Beach is practically right here.
