If you came for an overnight stay Turtle Rock RV Resort is a splendid place to camp. During the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 60's at Evans Log Ponds with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Evans Log Ponds. Nothing beats kicking back at Agate Beach; whitewater paddling is not       for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Elk River. So many amusing things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too magnificent to be true. Go for a hike on the Hazel Camp Trail, and Ocean View RV Park is a great local campground. Don't leave Evans Log Ponds without first going for a hike along the Snow Camp Trail, and if you need a place to stay Inn of the Beachcomber is a good choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges.                  You truly ought to adore Evans Log Ponds. Good hiking is available along the Grassy Knob Trail, and Pacific Reef Resort is a magnificent location to get some rest. Much precipitation falls at Evans Log Ponds; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year is July. Man, is there heaps of exciting things to do in the Coast Ranges. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Barley Beach; if you're going to from Brookings, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful.
