Eureka Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay Dogwood Motel is a pleasant choice, and hiking along the Straight Creek Trail is delightful fun. Summertime highs at Eureka Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. | | in the 40's; night lows at Eureka Pond during the wintertime frequently descend into the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range.
This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Steamboat Inn is a wonderful site to get some rest, and why not camp at Shadow Falls Campground while you're here at Eureka Pond. a look at Cavitt Lake near Eureka Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and a glorious location for whitewater paddling is Umpqua River - South.
Eureka Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most
rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. While you're here at Eureka Pond you can take a hike along the Mott Trail, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Little River. Going for a hike along the Red Butte Trail
will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you came for an overnight stay Smith Springs Campground is a good spot to camp.
