This lake is so wonderful. Very glorious water scenery is available at Ettinger Dam in the vicinity of Ettinger Reservoir, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express PORTLAND WEST/HILLSBORO. Ettinger Reservoir gets much water; throughout December this       area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest. A lake close by is Wandell Reservoir, and camping at Pine Ridge Park is always a splendid experience. During the days of summer at Ettinger Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ettinger Reservoir are in the 30's. If you get bored of Ettinger Reservoir, you                  could also go to close by Bastion Reservoir, and don't forget to take a magnificent little tour to Beaverton Creek.
