The beauty of Ernests Pond is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sun Motel, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Calapooia River. Throughout the long summer days here at Ernests Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Ernests Pond fall

| | into the 30's. If you came to camp Holiday Mobile Park is a good site to do that, and there are plenty of folks from Albany-Lebanon here.
There are tremendous places to look at along the Michigan Heights Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Mohawk River. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Central Cascade Range.
