Georges Knob can be made out from Ernests Pond. There's so much to do here at Ernests Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Holiday Mobile Park is a good site for that. Ernests Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; throughout November this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. At Ernests Pond during the warm days                  of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Ernests Pond temperatures descend to the 30's. So much fun stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. A tremendous close by hotel is Village Inn. Lakes are great; Bedortha Reservoir is a lake that's next to Ernests Pond. After a long day outdoors Travelodge Pioneer Villa is a great location to spend a night or two; there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Michigan Heights Trail. All year is a great time in the Central Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors.
